Today i be reviewing on my first ever brush set:

yes, it's my FIRST brush set ever, normally i would only have individual brushes and that cost a lot, but i cannot imagine that this brush set only cost around RM 29.52 ! it's a steal, what say you?

tried to arrange it in an orderly manner haha, and they even sent me a Ferrero Rocher! haha i ate it after i snapped this,  they make it look so pretty!

One thing that i love about Natta Cosme is that they never fail to make the packaging PRETTY and ATTRACTIVE. 

i am one of those people that thinks that outlook DOES matters! (unless it has something to do with my lifetime partner, haha) 

because first impression counts right? so i was pretty amazed when i flip open the box and saw how they decorate it with lovely shreds of paper. and a tiny box to contain the chocolate . haha 

back to the brushes, I LOVE PINK! i mean i'm so girly i can even dream in pink shades ! lol

So Cerro Qreen make up brush set has 7 brushes , let me introduce it to you one by one later. 

in the picture above (from left to right)

1. Modifying Brush (sponge) i prefer to call it the smudge brush? because i use it to smudge the tip of my eyeliner

2. Eyebrow brush made of Fiber

3. Lip Brush (fiber) 

4. Eyeliner brush (fiber)

5. Small eye shadow brush (Pony hair)

6. Large eye shadow brush (pony hair)

7. Blusher Brush (Goat's hair)

First brush is my favorite because i will never leave home without putting blusher on my cheeks . NEVER, blusher is very important to make your face look less dead. that's why i like this blusher brush the best because it is quite handy and small which is great to take it around with you. 

The bristles is not that harsh after you had used it quite sometime. i know (as i read a couple of bloggers around the world reviewing this as being too harsh for their skin) well, after some washing, it really tends to soften down . 

the brush length is 14cm and bristle length is 3.5cm. 

quite small and handy right? 

Next up is the eye shadow brushes. both made from PONY hair. 

Big eye shadow brush: 14cm, bristle length 1cm

small eye shadow brush: 12.5cm, bristle length 0.9cm

close up, sorry didn't manage to get the plastic cover out yet. haha got so excited over the package that i snapped it the day i got it 

okay, i only used the small eye shadow brush because i am a monolid, i think eye shadow that reaches up till the eyebrow is too much emphasizing. 

as for the large eye shadow brush, hey who say you have to use it ONLY for eyeshadow?

i use it to highlight my nose, making it sharper! ( : 

Next up is the eyebrow  brush

brush length 12.5 cm , bristle length 0.9cm

close up shot, i love how it angled makes it so easy to fill in the eyebrow. 

lip brush with, (finally!) a cover for itself!

brush length 14.5cm, bristle 4.5cm

close up, i love this! it's quite soft and flexible, it's easy to apply on the lips. quite suitable for my small lips

Next up, eyeliner brush!

brush length 12.5cm, bristle length 0.5cm 

suitable for powder liner, so i tried it 

One thing best using eyeliner brush instead of gel liner or crayon/pencil liner, is that, when you wear double eyelid sticker, it is easier to use the brush to cover it up rather than using pencil liner to draw it furiously over your sticker so many times. haha, and the sticker tend to move and you have to repeat your eye make up again. 

so using the brush and gently brushes the whole sticker area, it's quite manageable. 

Lastly the modifying brush which i tend to call it the smudge brush

it's made of sponge, which normally i would just use it to create that flick of the end of your eyeline.

my opinion: seeing that this is my FIRST set of make up brushes, i really like how it is small and handy that i can take it for traveling purposes. it's attractive and affordable and the brushes are quite in good condition ( :
