fashion inspiration 2015

the sudden midnight post
when you are dying to dress up
but there is nowhere to dress up
so i indulge myself by eating visuals of this~

COACHELLA

ever since i attended my very first music festival, i realize people DRESSED like this

and now COACHELLA is such a hot buzzy thing these days, i fallen in love with the combination of everything!
Elements: Florals+fringes+Tribal prints+Soft fabric+fashion blogger hat

Credits: lookbook.nu

Vanessa Hudgens , i must say she is really the queen of dressing up this genre

Minimalist
probably a very drastic change from festival's outfit to minimalist outfit
snapping pictures with a better effect is where the background is white.
elements: black and white

Credits; Tinsel Rack (online shop in Singapore)

Japanese in local uni

obviously , studying in a local uni had limit the choices of clothes i have to wear. i ended up looking like i'm wearing my pajamas to school
and each time i walked to the school of language in my uni, i was always attracted to the style the Japanese or Koreans are wearing
Seriously! how can they pull this off so easily, so effortlessly and look so pretty!?!
i tried to picture any malaysian wearing their clothes, but then it didnt really work out but i seriously LOVE the way they dress.
Elements: skirts, alot of skirts, socks on every shoes, soft fabric

did i mention i have the same bag as her? hahaha
can't find other pictures because there is none in google
but there are alot in my school T_T
i wish i can really follow them but i have no guts

wishlist piece

every girl's dream to have a clothes wishlist
so that one day when she goes shopping
she knows she needs it
these are mine
others may subject to disliking it or think it's out of trend
~

Ripped boyfriend jeans
Ripped + Boyfriend = awesome combination (:
why? because skinny jeans are too mainstream
i like the boyish look

Boy shorts (tinsel rack)
heck! nobody ever had this kind of shorts except if you specially manufacture it like Tinsel Rack does.
My sister just bought hers and i am EXTREMELY awed that it really turn out great for a shortie like her.

i forgot what this hat is called, but i call it the fashion blogger hat
because if you think your outfit is dull
just put this on
all the ootd pictures will boom!
i just ordered mine from Dresslink,
wishing it will arrive soon! because i can't wait anymore (:

Everyone needs a pair of boots
thankfully, i had fulfilled this wish and got myself one and even supplied it as one of my shop's item
Fash Grace has it!
come pre-ordered it (:

Boyfriend white shirt (:
i need this
badly ~~
hey, why do people always scare it is too big ?
loose creates the sexiness

overalls (: or dungarees? lol, can't differentiate, btw i think it's time to get myself one of these even though it may look abit childish for my age wahaha

lastly, plait shirt (:
preferably made out of soft fabric than the hard one, i don't mind if it's sheer or what, there's always a white singlet inside (:

so what's your checklist?

What Makes Me think Dance Moms is interesting

well i like to watch Dance Moms!
who doesn't? the fact that six young dancers(or maybe seven if you include Kendall who happen to dance her way in in the middle of the season) can remember every dance move for just four days of practice and then ships off to any competitions and then bags at least top 1-5 in those competitions.
*clap hand*
or maybe i am such a terrible dancer that watching them dance really amaze me
okay, that's not mainly the point why i watch dance moms too
here i listed down a few , why i think it's so interesting to watch this dance show hehe

1. There's always a catfight between moms or Abby lee in every episode

i still think this was the best catfight scene ever!
haha i mean normal days they would just sit there and torment each other, yelling each other and then cursing like their kids are not there,
but this time there was actually physical contact in it
until the producer of the show need to stop them infront of the camera

nah, i don't actually like to see lots of arguement on the show, but this is what takes the viewers off their seat , so it's not just a TYPICAL dance show , it's about their moms~
on how they willing to fight for their daughter's solo part, or how unfair Abby is treating them, and so on
no wonder the producer changed the name from JUST DANCE , to DANCE MOMS
i think the show would be boring without their existence anyway
*yawn*

2. Abby's favoritism towards Maddie

Who doesn't love Maddie, i mean if you were given a star on your doorstep, would you thrash her around and told her you's useless? nah, even Maddie did slacked a bit during season 3 and was not given a few solos , Abby did that so that she wanted Maddie to move forward, improve more,
and yes, Maddie was on top of the pyramid for 41 times all four seasons
*jaw drops*
and because of some biased issue going around, the other moms had spark quite a lot of jealousy over her mom, and some saying it's unfair to their daughters because Abby only has eyes on Maddie during competitions.

3. Maddie's breathtaking performance

nobody can deny the fact that Maddie is a wonderful dancer, have you seen the music video of Sia 's "Chandelier?"

yes you be thinking who's that girl dancing non stop like she didn't even hieve a breadth of tiredness around her (of course it could be cut and paste video, but if you watch the LIVE performance during Ellen DeGeneres' show, you know well, MADDIE, as an 11 year old girl (going to be 12 soon, or maybe she is 12 already lol) is a dancer you can't stop watching

not to mention, EACH and EVERY dance performances, she has this breath taking emotion going around her. Just so flawless ~

4.the comparison between Chloe and Maddie
Yes, Abby always compares Chloe with Maddie
Chloe was given the duets with Maddie
and at one point
They both have to dance the same solo dance for the same competition
and when Chloe DID win for that competition, Abby went to check the marks and told the judge saying that there is a mistake on the calculations,
so Maddie was the crowning champion for that dance

i mean, Chloe was always second best no matter how much effort she puts in her dance
i don't blame her if her mom has some ill feeling towards Maddie's mom, because Abby is always pushing Chloe to dance like Maddie
which i think it's personally wrong because Chloe has a different style than Maddie
i think Chloe dances AS good AS Maddie (:

no doubt they are still friends even there's lots of tough competitions between them

5.Brooke and her boyfriendS
This is Brooke Hyland
16 now , but her height is only 4 feet 11 so she blends well with the other dance kids who is around age 8-14( Chloe is 14 )
weird thing is her sister's Paige is growing taller than her like a head soon, and her mum defended saying that her grandma was a short person too
see? Paige is so much taller than Brooke here despite the age gap
(Paige will still be growing as she hasn't reach her projected height yet)

so ya
but what's making her interesting is that she always gets the boy
HAHA
everytime she was paired up with a boy to duet with Abby always encourages her to go on a date with him , to make them understand each other better
so first it was Brandon
gosh Brandon is hawwwt, he be joining the air force soon
(btw he's dating Kendall's sister now)

They liked each other, but it didnt turn out well
so now Brooke is with Nolan!
(:

6. How Abby teaches them to dance by just giving them instructions
No actually she choreographs by just giving them instruction on what to do
i don't think she actually dances together with them because of her physical built (if you know what i mean)
well all i can say is
she is a wonderful choreographer then,
and gosh, if you ever watch Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition, you know she is always particular at Technics, she can dictates which foot is off and which Technics is wrong
and kudos the girls for dancing by just listening to what she pictured them to do

okay that's all for now
i also do enjoy watching little Mackenzie dancing all the cute dances
*Mackenzie is maddie's little sister*

anyway
These are only my opinions
dont mean to offend anyone if i write something wrong here hehe

Meng Meng double eye lid narrow tape from Hishop

it's been ages since i got any products to review from hishop, haha, because some are products for consuming which i bet my parent would freak out at this kind of product,
but when this product is opened for reviews! i really have to try it
seriously, i am a double eyelid sticker fanatic,
i owned more than 10 double eye lid stickers (varying from brands after brands, mostly from sasa)
but this is the first time i am using lace double eye lid tape
i like to call it lace instead of mesh , because it's really IS lace
and when Hishop has introduce this wonderful product,
it's time to get  my godzilla mood on
*again exaggerating*

it's MengMeng eyelid tape for narrow eyes and normal glue RM58
(they have it in professional glue too but the price is higher: Rm62)*professional glue is not recomended for those with sensitive skin*
in one box you have about 30 pairs of eye tape (enough to "feed" me for one month if i use it daily )

it comes with a pocket which is pretty hygienic~
i have loads of eyelid stickers, but none have a really nice compact case that can keep your eyelid tape clean and free from dust
and that is why my eyes are always swollen after long usage of double eyelid sticker,
but this is quite impressive at first sight (:
plus i am always particular in packaging, the glue bottle looks cute and the glue doesn't even look as scary as the one i use to form crease on . (those are like thick white milky looking liquid that u really doubt if this thing is going to go off after you washed it)

close up of the lace eyelid tape
erm, pretty thick for my small eyes ~
i'm a bit doubtful how i'm going to wear it to make it as natural as possible

they even have a step by step manual for beginners~
i don't have a tweezer ._. but i normally would just use my fingers to peel the eyelid tape off.
okay, this is new to me,
the glue contains a small portion of alcohol for quick drying purpose??
so i guess if you're a malay, do take a short notice on this

how the eyelid tape looks against my hand.
so invincible right?

apply the glue on to mesh eyelid sticker~

the outcome
so bloody natural right?
okay, i think the first picture scares the crap out of you because i have hyperventilation these few days so i didn't have much sleep nor oxygen. but still ,it doesn't keep me from trying this product.

i tell you why this is a must-have after i used it
  1. look extremely natural because it is not even visible ! no more people saying " err, Ann, i think you're sticker is dropping." "err, Ann, is that eyelid tape?"
  2. doesn't hurt your eye. this is true, because it's lace and it's not sticker, it's very soft and delicate~ just so right for my overly sensitive eye which will swell after long hours of double eyelid sticker
  3. top notch quality~ i know some lace eyelid tape would wilt like a dying flower if you try peeling it off the wrong way due to lack of skill or being impatient to be careful when handling this delicate thing. but this will never go out of shape no matter how clumsy you are

okay lah, my eyes is still small even with double eye lid tape
but it still add a little sparkles in my eyes
*bling bling*

ps: i'm sorry for not blogging these days,
i'm suffering from hyperventilation and palpitation
one minute i can do my normal routine, another minute i can just break down and gasp for breath and everything just went cold and scary like it's my last breath
i've been to the clinic twice, went to the hospital for a thorough check up
nothing shows what is the cause
the doctor has no medicine for shortness of breath,
so i've been drinking chinese herbs all day
hoping for the best

The Kimono Fashion Craze

(source from Tumblr)
i am currently in big craze for kimono but i just can't help wondering what will others think if i drape it around me outside.
it looks kinda like you're draping a blanket around yourself.
but it's such a cool street wear MUST HAVE
i mean it looks so laid back yet trendy
argh, a MUST HAVE on my list no matter how
blanket-look-alike it  is.

things you have to know how to wear a kimono with~
NEVER wear anything loose inside. it just adds a lot of layer to your body, and it doesn't flaunt your body anymore
always go for tight tops, bralets and bustiers are the best,
and because i can't wear bralets and bustiers out of my house
(reason: dad would kill me)
i think a kimono helps to cover up anything that is too expose.

These are so lovely!
the shorts and the top: oh so lovely!

kimonos come in many prints, and i really wish i can find a suitable one.
like floral and black in color , it'll be easier to match i guess?
it's either you go wear prints on the outside and stay plain on the inside,
or plain kimonos and stay floral on the inside
too much prints may hurt the eye
LOl
