My Valentine's Day trip

Hi, how y'all doing? hehe
how did you all celebrate Valentine's Day? i know it's been a long ago story but i think i HAVE (let me emphasize the word) to blog about it to keep the memories fresh
(all my old post had a bug so all my old pics are gone ...cryyyy)

Well, this is our Me and Dan, my boyfie for what seems to be forever. haha
at first everything was well plan, we decided to go down to KL with my sister so that she can meet up with her husband too .
we had already booked the flight ticket but then Dan told me he couldnt make it
T_______________________T
welll, he try to make it happen in the end and arrive just in time for the dinner
(well, better than he didnt turn up anyway)
okay, so i must be grateful, let's skip all the sad part and jump into the bandwagon, shall we?

So we went to Hubba Hubba at Sentral for our Valentine's dinner.
It's a seven course japanese dinner.
at first i saw the Facebook page and i was like
oh it's just like an ordinary cafe look-alike that happen to be in KL blah blah
i ate my words back when i see how beautiful and GRAND this restaurant is .
did i mention we were suppose to be sitting outside enjoying candlelight dinner seeing the view from above
B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L

but then it started raining..so yeah , boo hoo to great view outside
but inside is alot cooler and quite comfortable, plus the boys get to watch their movie again . haha

Credits to Hubba at Sentral for the pics

really nice right? the ambience and all (:
wait till you see what it looks like at night

Beautiful :D
So the sister made a collage for the night
that's her friend with her date(not in picture)

The evening started well, with alot of photo taking, the boys are engrossed with the movie they played out at the screen
i wish i can upload all the food pictures here but dang
i really hate iphone

Me and Dan (:
haha if you look closer, that shirt he is wearing has ANT prints on it. It's like he is wearing me because my name is Ann, and everybody has been calling me names lie "Ant" or "semut"

This is my vegetarian sister with her vegetarian pizza. HAHAHAHA it's bigger than her face.
well she thought she wasn't able to eat most of the seven course dinner but it turn out there were a few that she can eat too, so in the end everybody had a fair share with this pizza haha.

The food was great but there were a few i couldnt eat like Beef and green tea pudding, i wish i can change that but it turn out it can be exchange for another but it's quite too late for me to change because i did try a little bit of the side ingredients. T_T there goes my main course~~

(following food pictures are from Hubba at Sentral fb page)
am sorry i don't know what the dishes are called.

first course~
it taste pretty good, infact it open my appetite to eat more later on haha

This was my favorite of all, well i can eat pretty much everything from it. anyway see that stick there? it can be eaten too! :D

well this is beef
T_T i am very sad i cannot enjoy their main course because of religion, i do not eat beef
but this man (below)

yea, my sister's husband ate three of our main course
look how happy he is when he get to eat 3 of the dishes

This was pretty good too! i'm quite happy seeing this after i couldnt enjoy their main course for the night

this seem to be garlic fried rice? haha but by the time we were so full i ate around it picking at my food.
the tempura taste good though
and well this is MY photo btw.

and the last course is the green tea pudding (it somewhat looks like pudding) didn't have picture here but i couldn't taste it seeing that caffeine encourages panic attack.

our group picture of the night at Hubba Hubba
it was pretty dark actually , but my sister's camera work wonders.

See the beautiful view from Hubba Hubba
it's not that tall but you can see pretty much everything here :D
i am sooo glad to experience this dining
seeing that i came all the way from Kedah or even if i'm studying at Penang,
i dont think i can find anywhere like here.

well thank you to my sister and her friend for bringing us there.
Happy Valentine's day to Dan too for flying all the way here even if you have to burn the previous ticket.
It'll be another milestone we had reach
and yea, it's only our 2nd Valentine's Day together (by right it should be 3rd but we didn't get to celebrate the first one together)
it has been a pleasure meeting you
okay, well i used to write like reallly really long post dedicated just for him
but seeing that i have already been with Dan for almost 3 years now, there are so many words that are already spoken WAAHAHHA
i'm so sorry if i cannot express it in words anymore
but you know my heart does, Dan!
i really do appreciate everything you did for me
thinking that there are sooo many other stuff to turn your back on me but you chose not to
i am still wondering what make you love me
but i have tons of reason why i still love you
wahahaha
okay
abit geli now that i write it out
cheers guys!

xoxo

Cafe hunting night: Caffe Diem

Okay, i believe i had abandon my blog for two weeks *guilty*
truth is, my internet has been down for about 5 days so i cannot update any post at all~ grrr
anyway this will be my second food post and it happens that there is a newly opened cafe down town and i'm like dying to go because the ambiance is so nice~
it looks like something along penang old street where you spot all sorts of vintage looking cafe around~ yeah
and Alor Star has one! how cool is it~

the front of the shop,
you can sit behind of the shop too, there are spaces available behind but i guess it'll be around one big round table, one table locked inside a room and a square table outside and a looonnng table against the wall.
because we came with a number of 6 , we have to sit outside with conjoined table~ that night was pack with people, so i was a little bit shy to take more photos~

candid shot~
i review on the food later, lets check out the cafe~

really like penang lah, they even have street art INSIDE the building~
The shop is a bit narrow, but cosy so nevermind, haha

hi Dan,
okay lah, i don't really like to take empty pictures with no human being inside, so i force Dan to pose for me even though he was like "quickly quickly! got people looking! "
it's not really organized yet, they should at least cover up the things that they store behind.
you know, make it look more pleasant (;

i'm not really a coffee expertise , all coffee taste the same to me, (what a lousy food blogger, i know) all i care is the outlook and is it even drinkable.
Haha, but i the aroma of the coffee has already awaken me, you know i went to many cafe and none have that kind of rich aroma that arouse you (arouse as in the sense of make you happy and feel excited to sip it, not in the sense that you would jump into bed with anyone around there, LOL)

this is special, i haven't taste it before,
it's lavendar+coffee,
and the shop people were so kind to warn us that those who doesn't really know how to drink tea is not advisable to drink this, guess the tea is stronger than the coffee,
but Yi Hui , who is a tea expertise ordered this with no doubts,
so yeah, everybody wanted a sip to see how it taste like
...
true, i don't think i can bottom up this drink~ haha

some snacks~
this is their wings, wings, wings, wings
ya, their menu goes like this~
imagine going up to the person and say
" i want wing wing wing wing"
*troll face*
so it's like four chicken wings coated with honey~
i didn't get to try it but my friends were like licking their fingers after that
so yummy
price is : Rm10.90 for four chicken wings

then i got hungry again
seriously i have no idea what is eating all my food inside my stomach,
so i wanted something light and easy to eat,
i ordered this fish fingers with their sauce,
the sauce was mama mia!
awesome
i give this five stars haha
anyway i wanted to try the grill cheese sandwich badly, but because it was kinda late already and cheese is so fattening, i vowed that i am coming back this time to eat their sandwich! *pinky swear*

price for fish fingers: Rm9.90
and oh yeah, their sandwiches is : Rm14.90

their shop opens from 11.59 am to 11.59 pm (very weird coordination but makes it even special)
situated at Pekan Cina,
yah, people will be like " where da hell am i going to park?"
no, no , this shop is more towards the main road, and they have parking lots around there, and it's not a narrow road , it's quite big and spacious
if you still can't find parking lots,
walk lah! *meme laugh*

Mother's Day is coming soon,
don't know what to get for your mother?
go Romwe to enjoy up to 70% discounts for more than 1500+ styles!
arrrgh
i waaaannntttt
i mean , even though it's for mummy, i still wish i can buy for myself too
hahaha
date starts: 6/5-12/5
so hurry up!
that's like another five days only!

Foodpanda : ordering food the easier way

i got to admit, i am one of the laziest girl you ever meet
i can starve myself the whole morning just because i'm so lazy to drag myself out of bed and out of the house to find food
normally i just nibble on bits of leftover snacks around the house
but most of the days, my house is like a barren field, no food and i go around crawling on the floor moaning and starving
(again, exaggerating, i didn't go to that extend of crawling on the floor lah)

then i spot Foodpanda at so many other blogger's blog and i am very fascinated at this type of service.
when we talk about food delivery system, we always picture Pizza Hut and Mcdonald, but now! you have more varieties from all your favorite famous shops around your location~
now i don't need to starve myself everyday anymore because there is such service that makes me even lazier, but at least i'm fed well like happy panda!

Foodpanda is an online food delivery portal that offers about 300 restaurants for you to choose from . You get to choose all sorts of food (japense? Pizza? Chinese? Indian? Burgers? Malaysian? anything to fix your craving)and let it deliver right at your doorstep at given time.

they offer services to Ipoh, JB, KL , Melaka, Penang, PJ, ShahAlam and Sunway-subangJaya-Puchong.

Judging that i MAY or MAY NOT get into USM YET~ let's just say i am already there, okay? so yes, pick the location and Foodpanda will pick those restaurants that are available for delivery.
Seeing that EVERYBODY knows 7-eleven, and it's such a convenient store to get all sorts of stuff, i am going to target this shop first.

some shops offer free delivery like Starbucks, Dome, TGI Friday, Morganfield's but 7-eleven charge Rm3 for delivery fees,
couldn't complain more if you wan the easier way right?

some of the snacks in 7-eleven~
just add and add and add

and yeah, i think foodpanda is also great for emergency rescue for things like that. Just imagine you have those kind of days and you are unprepared and you are alone and you can't leave the house because , seriously, how on earth are you going out with blood stains all over your behind?
instead of calling 911, order this online through foodpanda,
they will deliver it to you within their given time~

you can choose to pay cash either
cash on delivery
or
Online payment
i'm sure most of us would opt for cash on delivery without the hassle of going through credit card and all that~
and i'm glad they have vouchers too!
i won two vouchers from two fellow bloggers (hi Kharnyee, Hi Camy), thank yoU! it got me prepared for my university life this coming September (just in case i go starving and crawling on the floor again)

Other than that, you can just browse through using your phone!
yES ! go download now!
it is so much easier , it's like food shopping!

Deals of the week~
check to see what best deal you can get! Maybe free delivery? maybe free drinks?

pic by CheeChingy~
a cute illustration on how to order from Foodpanda

last picture before i end my post here
haha SO bloody cute lah!

well, Mother's day is coming soon right?
if your family don't like the hassle of traffic just to travel outside and get good food, why not order through Foodpanda?
that be great right?
so why don't you give it a go?

download it via Appstore~
or order it online:
