.
Wow it has been 2 freaking years since my last post, I wanted to start afresh you know, but realise there are so many memories here why not just continue. I probably read everything back when i'm 30 and probably cringing at my post 5 years ago. i wanted to delete everything but deleting it just doesn't feel right . this is me after all, raw and honest without bothering to correct my grammar mistakes.
For those who secretly viewed this blog, hello, yes, is me. My name is Ann, and i had been selling clothes online as a full time job for 2 years now, (hope this is not hard selling but do check it out: www.fashgrace.com)
This blog is so raw, you can feel my passion changed throughout the years. From someone who has an undying love for music and blog to now a business money driven girl staying at KL. I have not even a second thought of being an online seller back when i started this blog, look at how things grow.
What's my progress so far?
1. Full time business owner
i owned two online shop apparel now , one sells preorder ( FASH GRACE ) and another sells readystocks (CHIC ANN). Honestly i put so much time and effort on Fash Grace, Chic Ann looks like a side hustle now.
2. I had a retail space
Chill girls, is not a physical store but is a retail space at POP by Jayaone. Is very entrepreneur friendly and rental friendly and staff service friendly. The vendors there are not really surviving right after MCO (omg i don't want to elaborate what is MCO here after leaving such a big gap), so up until now there's not much vendors left standing which is not a good sign. How is that not a good sign? yes you might not have competitors left but you might not have that much walk in customers left too with that little vendors left standing in that space. My space is still there till 2020, no worries, will elaborate more on this space soon.
3. I rented a unit in KL for work based.
i had already moved twice at KL! I didn't like the first location that i picked , it was at Setapak. rental there was around RM1350 for a 900sqft unit. It was affordable, food there was affordable because there's TARUC student market there, but so not nice to eat. environment is full of foreigners i got harassed once in the lift and decided to move after that. Is very scary after all, so i decided to move to a safer place in Tropicana area. Damn, you got to be real rich to live in a place like this. Food is not cheap, the grocery stores are Village Grocer of Jaya Grocer, you live next to a golf course so you would know the eatery there are targeting rich tai tai and not me, obviously. But at least i feel safe? Rental is cheap though but of course i have to buy my own fridge and washing machine. Wow, there's so much to elaborate on, will blabber on it next time okay.
4. I'm still with my boyfriend
5. My business is growing steadily but not rapidly
You know how you feel you're useless each time a new growing business just surpassed you just by launching it in one year and you had been building this business for 6 years with very slow progress? I'm probably feeling it right now, there's a bit of good business vibe start of May - August and then this month has been slacking off because August i did a mega sale where the orders are insanely piling up, i decided to focus on sending out the parcels and orders and not much on engaging my September sales. So yea, business has their ups and down. One minute you're rich, the next minute you began to worry what went wrong.
6. I gained a lot of weight
I sat a lot, i packed a lot of parcels so i slouched even more because i'm always on the floor so the extra baggage was my stomach. I didn't know i was that self conscious until to the point i can't fit into many nice pants and jeans. So yea, to those who knows i had gained a lot of weight, please shaddup , i know about it, you don't need to tell it in front of my face. thank you.
Good picnic
