So i wore this outfit to Penang . 

okay, you may think i get it all wrong saying that this is a skirt and not a skort, even though the picture may have look like a skort after all all.

ahaha, but it is indeed PU leather as the material, it is quite top quality. (: 

of course don't wash it with washing machine, do hand wash it to maintain it's top notch quality

It has horses as the prints, which is very very suitable for this Chinese New Year. This year is the Horse year, so i wore this outfit for Day 8 CNY. 

and the material is chiffon type, which is very light and very suitable for the hot sunny days in Malaysia. 

and sorry, i was suppose to take some photos near the mall within the beach and breeze, but ended up here in a small tiny fitting room with mirrors on two corners.

Carousell : snap list and sell!

As you all know, i have started off my preloved clothes on sale (on my facebook) and i sold almost half of it. (leftovers, i will give away to charity) but then i scroll on my blog list and spotted  a fellow blogger, (hi Carinn) who blogs at http://www.extraordinarinn.blogspot.com/ introduce this wonderful app call " Carousell"

it sounds like the circus "carousel". it seems pretty cool, but my first impression was that maybe it's international and most of the viewers will be like international and i am not doing international shipping, so blah blah blah

random thoughts, but i downloaded it anyway on my bf phone (me no IOS 7 , it will lag my outdated Iphone 4s) 

i have to eat back my words after that. IT is really super addicting! i didn't know there are so many users there too, Malaysians, Singaporeans and Indonesians! posted so many lovely pictures of their clothes and the prices stated there are all  wide and clear with their description and all that. So addicting, seriously~ but i get to it later, ahah

most people use Carousell to earn money 

ahaha, yes, money, money money. to gain extra money, but i got to be honest. i dislike those people who obviously their clothes do not look appealing but still they state the price VERY HIGH. 

unless it's branded, you can do so, but if it is not, i always think that 'wore once' is still  preloved. you got to at least slash the price 50% off the the actual price. 

to me, i'm not here to earn money, ermm, maybe yes, to earn a few extra cash, but i'm here to KILL MY BOREDOM! 

This is me everyday at home and will still stay there for the next 8 months.

no , seriously, i got 9 months holiday till i start my first year in my university life. i only worked 2 days per week (they pay me quite well so i didn't bother looking for other jobs to fill in my boredom)

so selling clothes makes me do something and look forward to something!

i remember i keep going to the post office everyday even though it's only one small parcel, but hey~i'm so bored, i still go the post office with smiling face . I like to sell off my clothes, to see the small little parcels being addressed to some other people, to received their feedback, to model out my clothes for people to buy. this really occupies my time and i enjoy it (:

okay, now let's start to apply some CC cream on my face. 

sorry, i got no good foundation so i didn't want to put it up and show it up here. so i used a CC cream instead.

okay, so let's start with my naked face. 

see all those pores , let's see if the beauty blender can cover it up making it flawless. 

First touch of the Beauty Blender. Here's how to use it

1. Bounce the beauty Blender on your face~ Boing boing it goes (in dictionary it is call Stippling)
2. use it to cover up areas which is hard to reach even with out hands (like seriously our hands is so dirty i don't want to use it touch my face too) hard reach areas like around the nose and mouth and under your eyes
3. use the round base on your larger area like your forehead, cheeks and chin

The outcome~ my skin looks really smooth neh, okay except the tiny pimple dot over there, everything seems pretty flawless! i don't see the sighted pores anymore, and it really covers up my face like a new skin. it looks as if i haven't even put up any make up on my face.

Tips #2

If you have problem skin, you can use the tip of the Beauty Blender instead to cover up your blemishes well. Give it a stippling and twisting effect that will give a perfect finish for your skin.  

then i try to compare it with using my hand to apply my CC cream. 

i still noticed some visible lines around the side of my nose, it is not as even as the beauty blender.

I think the overall result is really good, because the beauty blender blends so well that i don't look like i'm wearing any CC cream on my face. It may takes up your time but i think the result is more important than how long it is to take to make your make up works right?

Chinese New Year day one and two

CNY DAY ONE

Hi guys! sorry that it is two days late  but Happy Chinese New Year to all of you! As you can see my family went back to my grandma house and there are 25 of us living in one house! i cannot imagine how we manage to get some space to sleep but i'm grateful that they had let my family sleep in a room with the air cond~

it's melting over here, very hot and sweaty so i decided to pick all my Chinese New Year (CNY) clothes sleeveless.

anyway we didn't do much during the first day of CNY

i and my cousins spent the whole day looking at the TV screen , i even went to have a little nap. I felt a bit grumpy during the early morning because my mum and my sister went back to Alor Star without me. like how can they left me here alone T_T

but then things get better at night when all of us were in the mood of snapping photos.

and yeah, all of us (Cousins) decided to repose our old photo . Look at that old photo! Then we repose it trying to look as similar as that old picture . 

I think it's quite lovely and sweet to do that, it brings lots of fun and great bonding.

quite simple and plain, i really have no taste this chinese new year. ahah

so we went to this kite flying place and it was really nice!

there are GIANT minions! BIG Garfield and even kites that race with each other like racing cars. 

it's like an expo or something, but okay, this was the only highlights of what happen on day one~~~

Although quite simple and nothing luxury, it was really nice (:

well we went back to our own home because tomorrow my sister has plans. 

so i called Dan to come to my house to meet my parents

no, this is WAAAAY beyond my expectations that my parents would actually treat him quite nice!

omegawd, i was actually pondering it, Dan even dreamt about it last night. ahaha we were all very nervous, but in the end it turn out to be smooth sailing. I told him to buy some chocolates, he came down from his car with so many things and i was like 0.0

it was the first time i actually see him dressing up kinda nice, and i was like 

"hi, you didn't even dress that nice when you go dating with me pun~~ *troll face*"

so he talked well with my parents and my sister started to get talkative again adn everything was good. 

One Shot for before we startt to eat our dinner~

okay, so after meeting my parent, we went to his shop to meet his parent~

nah, we are not nervous for that because i have met his parents for countless times already, so everything was normal and fine 

phew~~

funny thing is that when he was fetching me back, i kept asking him to join us for dinner since he will be eating alone later. he kept refusing it, and i kept pushing him, i mean, when lah will be the next time for him to join us for dinner right? so since my sister already called to invite him, why not grab the chance right?

so okay, i forced him in haha, and at first it was damn awkward then later it is back to normal like everything is fine. 

goodness, my face looks like a squeezed pineapple tart *palmface*

We missed out one fellow here, which is my sister's boyfriend. 

gaga, and i was still glad my mum called Dan to snap together with us too

First up is Blush By 3 from Sleek Make up (Pumpkin)  

Blusher is very important to me because it adds color to your skin. I always think that even if you have foundation on your skin making it flawless and everything, you still need to add in a little color even though it may darken your skin tone. I personally do not like pale skin, a little blush is just to make your skin alive again. 

I've chose this because it has a very high rating for it and furthermore, there are so many good reviews for it. I was tempted to try it . 

Alot of people had chosen the cream blusher palette , but i am not really a big fan for reddish tone. I favor peachy tone color so i picked this Pumpkin series.

Laqa & Co lip duo 

Next up is Laqa & Co lip duo. 

It also received high ratings for it and i've selected it because i want to stop using my peach lip tint all the time. haha. Okay the lipstick is very mini, but it's really bite size cute! travel friendly perhaps? 

and the color is so shinny shimering~ 

so let's start my review on this!

LOOK NUMBER ONE:THE PASTEL STAR

I Tried the lighter pink lipstick
sorry abit worn out. haha
this proof that i keep using them ever since i got them 

i applied it. 
Like literally just ignore the fact that i look sleepy here. 
anyway, the scent of the lipstick, (yes i can't help smelling it because every lisptick has a smell) it smells like herbal tea or something ==
but anyway, the color is so striking!
it's really high in pigmentation just like they said so

contrast against my skin tone. 

When u wear your lipstick this color, 

do note to wear something suitable for your clothes too! haha, i am picturing pastel pink clothes (don't go dark pink , it totally clashes) or white, anything that is light and pastel shades will do fine. 

Next i'll be pairing this lipstick with this blusher shade number 1 (i labeled it)

i like this best of all three because it's neither on the pink side or the orange  side. it's like an in between color shade. 

Under low light~

i call this look the pastel looking look. 

the color for the blusher is quite soft looking and it really suits me. I hearts this shade the minute i had it on my cheeks. 

LOOK NUMBER TWO: THE SWEET VIXEN

The second lipstick : a darker shade of pink. 

it looks a bit purplish 

I can't tell you how much i like the stick. it's big and easy to apply. and you don't need to reapply it incase you're afraid it looses it's color after a few hours

trust me, i went to Penang one whole day, ate,drank, even slept with my pillow against my mouth, the color still stayed  on ~

This color is even vivid than the previous one. Very striking

I tried the second blush which is more pinkish . 

But it turn out quite soft looking, i was afraid it might clashes with this lipstick color but it works well. this is under flashlight

(i know the pictures of what i'm wearing may confuse you, but i changed a lot, so don't worry i didn't mess it up)

And this is under normal lighting.

i'm a pink vixen! This lit out my face~ i feel so girlish wearing this blusher together with the lipstick. 

LOOK NUMBER THREE: THE ORANGE FRUIT

The orange monster is here! haha unleash it! 

i am a big fan of peachy shade, i think it goes well with my skin. 

Under normal lighting. 

I like this very much, it looks like sunburn skin. I have another idea in mind for putting the blusher at. 

swipe it across your nose in horizontal line instead of swiping up your cheekbones. 

This is for the sun beach look which is quite suitable if you're using a peachy shade of blusher.
